Let’s have a look at the prices of the Madeira holiday home. The house is for rent per night with a minimum stay of five nights*. We don’t pretend to be the cheapest, and we don’t want to be either. The prices of our Madeira holiday home are mid-range, but, for that, you get a top house on an absolute AAA+ location. The house has all mod cons and sleeps up to four in comfort.

All prices are per night. We don’t apply rigid check-in and check-out times unless you arrive on the same day the former guests are leaving, or leave when others are arriving. In such a case, the leaving guests must free the bedroom floor at 10 AM, enabling our domestic help Maria to start preparing the bedrooms for the next guests. The leaving guests need to vacate the house before noon. If you are arriving on such a change-over day, you can arrive at the house at 1 PM. Maria may not yet be ready, but you can at least dump your luggage and enjoy the garden or do some food shopping. The only vital thing is that you give Maria the space she needs to finish her work, especially in covid times where extra thorough cleaning is required.

• hight-season: house with up to 4 persons € 120 per night
• off-season supplement for extra persons: € 15,00 per person

High season is from the 1st of July till the 14th of September (included)You can rent the house with a minimum of 5 nights in the low-season, in the high season we apply a minimum of 7 nights.

Portugal uses the standard European ‘Schuco’ sockets, so if you need to bring alectric equipment with you, make sure and bring adapters if your plugs do not fit.

In winter, and really only in winter, from early November till mid-April, there is also a possibility to just book our guest room on a Bed and Breakfast basis. As this is Madeira, like the price of the holiday home, you will find it inexpensive. The guest room has its own ensuite facilities, its private terrace and its own balcony with the same spectacular ocean views as the rest of the house. In the background, you can see the stunning flowers of the Thunbergia Grandiflora, which rightfully bears the second part of its name. This beautiful climber can be found in many gardens and against many walls on the island. They flower all year round, but when it gets hotter or when it rains much, the plant makes more shoots as opposed to the cooler and dryer periods, when its emphasis is on flowers. It covers the complete side terrace next to our kitchen.
